The win was the ninth of the season in his Xtreme Pressure Washing No. 5j Gondolas Pizza and Steakhouse/ CVR Race Car Crate Late Model.

“It was a long trip for us, but man it was worth it. That is one awesome racetrack, and I had a great race with some awesome drivers,” Lowe commented. “I kept digging as the laps clicked away. On the last lap I was able to edge of Jordan Anderson to get the win. The racing was so close that neither one of us even saw the checkered flag and ended up making another lap. It was another dream kind of a night for our team.

“I can’t say enough about this team and all of our sponsors. I’m really honored to have so many great folks around me.”

June 1, 2019 - Lowe Dominates at Lake Cumberland Speedway
A planned off weekend ultimately turned into Jesse Lowe’s eighth win of 2019 on Saturday night. The Tennessee hot shoe parked his Xtreme Pressure Washing No. 5j Gondolas Pizza and Steakhouse/ CVR Race Car Crate Late Model in Victory Lane at Lake Cumberland Speedway.

The win rewarded him with a $1,500 payday.

“Saturday night was the kind of night you dream of. We set fast time, won our heat race, and then led every lap of the feature,” Lowe explained. “I’ve got to give a mad shout out to Phantom Race Engines. It was time for our engine to be freshened, so we expected to not have it back in time for the weekend. However, they busted their tails and got it back to us. Without them, there’s no way that we would’ve had an opportunity to win this weekend.”

Saturday night found 5J Motorsports pitted at Kentucky’s Lake Cumberland Speedway. With $1,500 on the line for the Pro Late Model division, Lowe broke out the broom. He swept time trials, his heat race and every lap of the feature to claim his eighth win of the 2019 campaign.
